Classic Charm
This project had to be styled correctly, the flooring needed to perform as required for both staff and guests, but it had to look right due to both the hotels heritage and location.
Classics offered our finest collection of traditional designs, that have been created for modern requirements. The bathroom interior styles required a floor with lots of character rich natural features and warming tones. We soon isolated Old English Oak and Farmhouse Oak as the perfect designs to compliment the interior design theme. They also worked beautifully alongside the chosen carpets for each room, allowing the tone and feel to flow through the space.
30 bathrooms installed, in the main, over plywood subfloors. It’s finished them off beautifully helping to create a welcoming, cosy and relaxed space for every guest to enjoy. Classics is a low maintenance flooring, with a surface that doesn’t harbour moisture and grime, perfect for easy upkeep and exactly as required.
Hotel owner Drew Southcott approached us about a refit across all their bathrooms, we proposed our Classics luxury vinyl planks as the best choice for this particular project. The elegant wood designs feature all the character demanded from a hotel with origins dated back to the eighteenth century. Then consider the practical demands for daily use in a busy hotel – Classics is low maintenance, water resistant and has a commercial grade wear layer so it stays that way for years to come.
